Shola Awoyode is a Lead Test Designer/Engineer at Bloomberg. Her 10 years of collaborating with cross-functional teams at Bloomberg has allowed her to seamlessly combine her technical expertise with a passion for communication.  She is recognized for collaborating effectively within teams and facilitating interactive workshops that help empower women to contribute to the broader success of their teams. At Bloomberg, she is actively involved with Bloomberg Black in Technology (BBIT) and BBIT Women. BBIT Women provides mentoring and a safe space for women with diverse backgrounds to share their unique perspectives as it relates to their roles in the tech industry.

Holding a Master's degree in Strategic Communication and Leadership from Seton Hall University, she possesses a unique ability to distill complex topics into digestible, bite-sized pieces, ensuring accessibility for everyone. She credits her communication and problem-solving skills to an innate ability to listen intuitively to what people are saying as well as what they are not saying. This skill has led her to a variety of projects including authoring two self-published children’s books, both illustrated by her teenage daughter.
